Profile

Ratri Nurwanti received both her bachelor degree in Psychology (2005 – 2009) and master degree (professional programme) in Clinical Psychology (2010 – 2012) from Universitas Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. In 2013, she joined Universitas Brawijaya as a faculty member and currently, she is appointed to be the head of Psychology Laboratory of Department of Psychology, Faculty of Social Sciences and Political Sciences Universitas Brawijaya. She is a trained and certified Clinical Psychologist and practicing as a counsellor in Student Counselling Services Faculty of Social Sciences and Political Sciences Universitas Brawijaya. She also devoted her expertise as a Clinical Psychologist in humanitarian activities, such as became a volunteer for Yogyakarta earthquake in 2006, Merapi eruption in 2010, and Lombok earthquake in 2018.

Research Interests

Broad research interest in mental disorder measurements, epidemiology, health-related behaviour, and emotion effects on cognitive performance.

Mentoring and Supervision

Extensive experience of undergraduate programme student supervision in Faculty of Social Sciences and Political Sciences, Universitas Brawijaya. She has supervised more than 50 undergraduate students.

Research Experiences

Ratri Nurwanti has conducted several researches focusing on developing mental disorder screening measurements, interaction between emotion and cognitive performance, and health-related behaviour. Her main focus is to developing a valid mental disorders measurement, as well as promoting the use of more objective measurements, such as behaviour and biomarker measurements.
