The Reasoning Division consists of student units:
1. Forum Mahasiswa Studi Bahasa Inggris (FORMASI)
Established in 1986, Forum Mahasiswa Studi Bahasa Inggris (FORMASI) is the only English learning-based student organization at Brawijaya University. This service unit aims to develop English skills and knowledge through training and competitions divided into categories such as Debating, Broadcasting and Public Speaking, as well as soft skills from organizational experience. 2. Forum Diskusi Mahasiswa Pengembang Penalaran (FORDI MAPELAR)
FORDI MAPELAR is one of the study groups that focuses on student creativity through intellectual activities that analyze the truth but are also called to fulfill their social obligations. It has the motto “Nalar Hasta Terusing Budi” which means that for FORDI MAPELAR Brawijaya University, reasoning, working, analyzing thoughts is a continuation of wise mind to form a whole human being in accordance with human nature. 3. Unit Aktivitas Pers Kampus Mahasiswa (UAPKM)
UAPKM is a student activity unit that focuses on delivering information in the form of campus and national news, delivering opinions, analyzing results through comics, caricatures, infographics and in the form of e-magazines and e-bulletins. 4. IAAS (International Association of Students In Agricultural and Related Sciences),
IAAS is a student service unit in agriculture and other related fields of science. One of its activities is the student exchange and internship program. 5. AIESEC UB (Association Internationale des Étudiants en Sciences Economiques et Commerciales)
AIESEC is a global youth-led organization that strives to achieve peace and fulfillment of human potential by activating leadership qualities among youth. AIESEC is spread across 114 countries and regions, including Indonesia. AIESEC in Indonesia was established in 1984 with the aim of developing youth to make a better Indonesia now and in the future. 6. Riset dan Karya Ilmiah (R-KIM)
R-KIM is one of the student units that is active and collaborative in order to Realize Adaptive Brawijaya in Facing Challenges in the scientific field". Mission Realizing a scientific climate that is conducive, productive, innovative and provides solutions to problems, Forming a culture of solidarity, integrity, and professionalism in creating superior human resources based on family principles, Establishing collaboration and synergy in accommodating the potential of Brawijaya's work in the scientific field, Spreading benefits through research activities and optimal community empowerment. 7. Mahasiswa Wirausaha (MW)
It serves as a forum for Brawijaya students who are interested in entrepreneurship and encourages them to become entrepreneurs. There are work programs in UKM MW, such as Entrepreneur Academy, Upgrading and Online Discussions that serve to increase knowledge and other programs such as research, sharing with communities and entrepreneurs. 8. Badan Riset Ilmu Sosial (BARIS)
BARIS is a semi-autonomous institution engaged in Research and Writing within the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Brawijaya University. This unit accommodates student self-development and is a means to hone skills, improve abilities and also foster student interest in the fields of scientific writing, essays and debates.
